Balboa Delight is all about Balboa. Your chance to immerse yourself in the world of dynamic swing dancing for a whole weekend—from beginner to advanced. Classes with international teachers, parties with one of Europe's best bands, swimming in the Rhine, a boat tour, and much more. A summer weekend in Basel full of swing!

TEACHERS
Our instructors have years of international experience and love to share their knowledge. They will meet you where you are and help you to improve your Balboa.

On Friday and Saturday, the Enric Peidro Swingtet, which is guaranteed to make your Balboa heart beat faster. Twice in the beautiful hall at kHaus. On Sunday, we will end the weekend in style with the legendary boat tour on the MS Christoph Merian.
All parties are included in the workshop. Party passes and Single tickets from 1 month before the festival, if available.
LEVELS
At Balboa Delight we ask questions about your dance experience in Balboa and your interests. This way we can form groups that fit together well.
This year, all participants have 8-10 hours of courses:
6 hours of Balboa on Saturday and Sunday
2 Master classes before the parties
2 hours Slow Balboa on Friday (optional)
There will be 7 groups, from beginner to advanced. At the beginner level, you will learn both roles (everyone leads, everyone follows). You can find more answers about levels in the FAQ. Just write to us if you have any questions.
PASSES
We are convinced that you want to get the most out of your weekend and work with our great teachers as much as possible. That's why we only offer full weekend passes.
*Reduced price for students, dancers who live and work outside Switzerland and anyone who cannot afford the regular price. Get in touch if you would like to take part but the reduced price is too high for you, there is a sustainability fund and the opportunity to help. You can find out more here.

For the boat tour, we hire the MS Christoph Merian, the colorful party boat of the Basler Personenschifffahrt. This means that all participants can be on one boat, with a large outside deck for dancing and various seating areas. The perfect end to a beautiful summer weekend!
